Places of Change is a government initiative to replace outdated hostels with modern inspiring buildings and with highly trained and motivated staff to deliver enganging activities in order to help homeless people in Hull transform their lives.
The building was completed in late summer 2011.
The new centre named "The Crossings" includes modern facilities to house up to 46 people and provide access to education and learning opportunities, a social enterprise cafe, a gym and a range of specialist services provided by partner agencies.
